• Hosting and security: our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Fonts: our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Theme preference: if you switch to dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools that build a profile about you.

How we use your information

• To send the newsletter you asked for.
• To answer your messages.
• To keep the site running, secure and free of spam.

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that run the site (such as Cloudflare), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

How long we keep it

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and your information is stored with our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Free Crochet Bags is a general crafting site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
